我觉得那是英国的小吃
but I think that's very English cuisine.

(NZ cuisine) is definitely not fish'n'chips,
新西兰当地食材都是有机的
...but anything that's locally sourced or grown here or is organic…

我们不拘一格，我们确实有来自欧洲的影响
We're eclectic, we definitely have influences from Europe
但我想，认为我们有更多的来自南太平洋岛国的影响力
...but I'd like to think we have a bit more of a South Pacific Island influence.

I reckon that should be developed more.

We're classic roast eaters, roast meats, we tend to do that.
如果说标志性的菜，烤制食品和pavolova可以算的上
Maybe you could say if there's an iconic dish, it's a roast with pavlova.
但要说这就是 - 如你所知，我们说：“这是泰国的，这是中国的，这是西班牙的”
But ...as you know we say "this is Thai, this is Chinese, this is Spanish"
你真的不能说“这是新西兰的”
...you can't really say "this is New Zealand".
年轻的国家，受到许多影响，在我们的饮食文化里显现出来
We're a young country with many influences, and it shows in our food.
因此，它仍然是一个悬而未决的问题
So, it's still an open question!
但有一点是肯定的，新西兰有很好的材料
But one thing is for sure, New Zealand has great ingredients.
