新总理上任对小国的移民政策的影响：
一、可以肯定的是小国的移民政策会持续下去；
二、新总理会对现有的移民政策进行一些修正；
三、目前的移民政策较其他国家不具备特别竞争力；（特指小国吧？！）

ST JOHN’S, Antigua Prime Minister Gaston Browne has committedto keeping the Citizenship by Investment Programme (CIP), but said hisgovernment will amend the Citizenship by Investment Act to strengthen theinitiative. “What I am told is thatour programme is not very competitive. The whole issue of public disclosurethat should be addressed and I am told that the 35 days’ residency is somewhatrestrictive.” The new prime minister said, as a result, the programme has notbeen as successful as it ought and that other countries involved in CIP did nothave those requirements. The prime minister said other amendments will strengthen thelegislation Meanwhile, on the abolition of Personal Income Tax, a majorpillar of the ABLP（ Antigua & Barbuda Labour Party ） campaign, PM Browne said thatwhile it will not happen immediately, adjustments will be made for government’snew budget cycle.
